Sparwood SAR was requested by Elkford SAR to assist in locating an overdue snowmobiler who had planned on travelling to a cabin north of Elkford. The subject was located alive and well, having been cut off from his original route back to the trailhead due to melting snow which required extra time be spent building a new route.
