Sparwood SAR responded to a request from Fernie SAR to assist in the search for 2 missing teens who had gone out driving backroads the previous evening, and were several hours overdue. The missing youths were located later that morning, their vehicle stuck in the snow in a remote area without cell phone coverage, and were transported back to Fernie.
