Ranger Testing and Practice

Swiftwater Practice in the field.

GSAR Overnight practice. This is for any member working on thier GSAR and need to complete their overnight training exercise to complete their GSAR ticket.

All day ropes practice. Rope team is encouraged to attend. All members interested in ropes are welcome. Joint practice with Fernie, Elkford, Kimberly & Pincher Creek. High angle and slopes.

Swiftwater Rescue Technician Level 3 The course provides SAR members with the trianing needed to conduct shorline and in water rescues.

Swiftwater Rescue Technician Level 2 - Shoreline This course provides SAR members with the knowledge and skills needed for shorline rescues and self rescue in the event a rescuer falls or is pulled

Regular Practice. Make sure to bring your ready pack. We will be conducting a search with a focus on first aid and packaging of subjects in the field.
