Members of Sparwood Search & Rescue joined members of Elkford SAR to assist in the search for overdue hiker Kevin Kennedy who went missing in Kananaskis Country, Alberta which adjoins Elk Lakes Provincial Park.

Mr. Kennedy has not been located, and anyone recreating or working in Elk Lakes or Kananaskis areas is asked to keep a look out and report any relevant information to the RCMP.

Kennedy is described as six feet tall and 170 pounds, with thinning grey hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, khaki shorts, brown fleece, dark coloured hat and a blue backpack. He was carrying a navy blue rain coat.
