Hi Team, Happy New Year to all of you! As it is now January, it is time for us to hold a quarterly general meeting to discuss team and society business. For those of you who aren't aware, the board decided we should start having general meetings on a quarterly basis to get more engagement from the members in conducting team business and make sure members have lots of opportunity to have a say in what direction we go. As usual, we will be having 2 dates to try and catch all the shift workers.
The dates for the meeting will be: Monday, January 28th and Thursday, January 31st both starting at 6:30 pm.
Here's what we'd need from people before the meeting:
Team Members: If you have any items you would like added to the agenda, please email them to Jackie atcjcarpenter@shaw.ca by January 16th - this can be anything you want discussed at the meeting like an idea for an event, fundraising, project, etc.
Committees/Working Groups: We would like to have a brief status update from each committee, just a point form briefing on what projects you're working on, any challenges you're facing and what additional support (manpower or funding) you may need going forward. I sent out a list of all the committees and their email addresses a couple weeks ago, please let me know if you would like it re-sent.
